Another burning question on our Wild Camino Journeys is… what weather to expect on the Portuguese Camino de Santiago
The weather is perfect! Spain and Portugal are blessed with a wonderful climate with constant sun and little rain during the spring, summer and autumn months. Blue skies all the way!
The region of Galicia is different from the interior and southern parts of Spain and Portugal, where temperatures are more extreme during the summer months.
Due to it´s proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, temperatures in Galicia are at a much more comfortable level. In order to ensure your comfort, we will be walking during the mornings hours and intend to finish each day by 2.00pm.
Temperatures will average between 16 to 24 degrees during these hours.
Which will leave you to enjoy your afternoon time! You can rest, relax and explore (or enjoy the sun from a sitting position).
If you would like to come and wander the Portuguese Camino de Santiago with me next summer, experiencing the Camino spirit and life of a Pilgrim, visit Wild Camino Journey or click the link below for full details. I hope to meet you on the Camino!
Places are filling up so we recommend that you reserve your spot as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
